Belcan, LLC announced today that its Government Services segment has been awarded a five-year prime Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) multiple award contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Technical and Analytical Support Services (TASS) in Arlington, VA.
Belcan is one of seven companies that will compete for task orders to provide technical, financial, administrative, business process and meetings/conferences support services to DARPA, with a total estimated contract amount of $850 million. For 60 years, DARPA’s mission has been to create breakthrough technologies for national security by making pivotal investments in new technology-driven ideas for the United States.
This is the tenth award Belcan has received from DARPA in the last five years. Schafer Corporation, now a Belcan company, has been a prime contractor for DARPA since 1978, assisting in the design and development of revolutionary technologies across a wide range of scientific and engineering disciplines. Under this IDIQ, Belcan and its teammates will provide technical, financial, programmatic and administrative support to perform risk and impact assessments of new technologies, develop system concepts, evaluate benefits to military users and ancillary commercial sector impacts, and support program definition, financial analyses, and strategies for transition to DARPA’s stakeholder communities.
