Belcan, LLC (Belcan), a global supplier of engineering, technical recruiting, and information technology (IT) services supporting the aerospace, industrial, and government services markets, announced today that Joe Triompo has joined the company as President of Engineering Services.

With more than 35 years of experience with leading manufacturers serving international aerospace, industrial, and commercial markets, Mr. Triompo will be responsible for leading the operation of Belcan’s Engineering Services segment. In this role, his responsibilities will include planning and executing strategy and high-level initiatives, governing activities of major customer accounts, and advising and executing on acquisitions.

Prior to joining Belcan, Mr. Triompo was Vice President (VP), Customer Support for Sikorsky Aircraft, President and Chief Executive Officer for JET Advisors LLC, and VP and General Manager for UTC Power. He also worked for many years at United Technologies Corporation (UTC), serving in key roles at UTC’s Hamilton Sundstrand division, where his latest responsibilities included President of Engine Controls & Systems and President of Aerospace Power Systems.

Mr. Triompo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Connecticut, and a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan Fellows program. He serves on the boards of the University of Connecticut School of Engineering and the Connecticut Science Center, and has also served as a member of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Hydrogen Technology Advisory Committee (HTAC).
