Systems Integration and Requirements Management
Core Capability:
Routing Harness
- Routing wires/cables/bundles
Nailboard Drawings
- Includes notes, wire information, connectors, splices, and BOM Tables
Documentation Review
- Review all supporting documentation and verifying requirements Parts Procurement and Management
Fit-up Support - On Machine Builds
- Technician support
Hand Build Harnesses
- Lab Environment
First Article Review with Customer
- Review first harness build to validate it meets all designs and previously built harness on actual machine
On-machine edits
- Change and document changes that are to be made to harness designs and previously built harness on actual machine
Design Review with Customer
- Figure out due dates, what will be needed to complete the job, look for any road-blocks that might occur, possibly set the desired routing path
- Properly design the harness (from harness to background models) with no interference and correct mounting locations
Space Claim Models
Modeling of Component Parts
- For the cases where a compent models just doesn’t exists or is unantanable from a supplier
- Coordination with Customer on Routing Path, Brackets, Clip Points
Diagram Responsibility
- Depending on the nature of the project, this could include everything needed to make the diagram, ie. Subsystem drawings, routing diagram, etc, making the diagram, updating the diagram, or just knowing where the latest diagram is and who is controlling
Bill of Materials Management
VisView review
- VisView is a "light weight" 3-D tool that uses tessalated models for easier interference checks
Parts Update Management
- This refers to the integrity and management of component parts and assemblies for use with and in the harness design
