Belcan has worked extensively with our customers to develop processes and tools that allow us to quickly and efficiently meet and exceed their personnel needs.

The Job Order
Belcan works with our customers to make the ordering process as simple and convenient as possible. To this end, we have developed several ways in which a client manager can notify Belcan of an open requirement. Belcan can accept orders: online through our website, online through our QuickMatch database, via e-mail, by fax, and over the phone.

Once received, Belcan's Sales and Recruiting teams assure compliance with customer requirements by reviewing job orders extensively to understand the skills and technical competencies needed. They also review a checklist of technical questions to clarify the client's needs and requirements. Once all of this is established, our staffing professionals use a targeted selection process to find the best fits for the position.

Sourcing
Belcan is constantly on the lookout for quality candidates to meet our clients' needs. We combine traditional and cutting-edge advertising methods to attract a wide variety of potential employees. Belcan recruiters use our internal database software to assist in their search for resumes, enter and manage various records, enter job order requirements, match applicants to job orders, track applicants and more.

Candidate Consultation
Applicants are asked to share their career goals and expectations, and a Belcan trained recruiter shares our company goals and requirements. After mutual commitment is reached, the applicants complete the required application which profiles their education, work history, experience, and skill sets.

Candidate Application
Belcan understands how important it is to have all legally required documentation for our employees. Our staff members are trained to completely and correctly process a potential employee's application.

Interview
Once our recruiters look at resumes and applications to find a group of potential candidates, we follow steps to determine if they are really a fit for the job. We conduct face-to-face interviews with each candidate to get more in-depth information about his/her skills, education, attitude, work ethic, pay requirements, and more to determine if he/she will be a good match.

Background/Reference Check
Belcan conducts a variety of background checks on our candidates. Work references are completed on all candidates prior to their assignment. We call previous employers about work history, skills, and performance while confirming hire dates, titles, and rehire status.

Assessment
To identify the BEST possible placements, we use proven methods to screen and test potential candidates for your company. The applicants are assessed on specific skills and/or industrial knowledge to determine appropriate assignments based on their education, experience levels, and general knowledge based on your needs and expectations. Recruiters analyze the results to determine if candidates are ready for placement in a current opportunity, or if additional testing/training is required to enhance their skill level for future placement. If more training is needed, our candidates use Belcan's computer-based training to hone their skills.

Job Placement and Customized Orientation
Belcan can provide orientation for new employees, prior to the start of assignment, through various tools including, but not limited to, one-on-one training sessions, orientation classes, customized manuals, and videos. These training tools can include critical elements of your organizational culture/environment. We can customize our program to meet your needs by creating a training package available on-line to assist employees with integration into your business.
