Nuclear Power System Analysis
Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is building a new Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) facility. Major Tool, of Indianapolis, received the contract for fabrication of the nuclear core vessel. Belcan was tasked to provide independent ASME Pressure Vessel Code analysis of the structure, as well as engineer the design of lift tools and develop the test procedures and design of test tooling.
