Military Vehicle Design

One of the world's largest wheeled vehicle armoring companies contracted with Belcan to participate in a new Up-Armored HMMWV enhanced protection system for the base unit vehicle. Belcan provided design and drafting services for the crew compartment's protection against anti-tank mine blasts, overhead airbursts, and underbody M67 grenade attacks. The contract included integration of the components to the HMMWV structural system, structural analysis, and vehicle survivability.
