Systems Engineering

Belcan's Systems Engineering team utilizes process discipline and tools to ensure products/systems best meet functional requirements in the most effective manner. We are the prime technical interface with our customer providing “one stop shopping” to address all customer technical questions throughout the project.

We develop and maintain, in conjunction with our customer, all program and technical project/product requirements. System Engineering flows down these requirements and leads the internal cross-function team to ensure development of the necessary technical planning, budgeting, and risk management activities to keep the project on schedule and budget. We take design ownership to develop a balanced design to achieve all product requirements by executing trade studies during the concept and preliminary design phases of the project. Project metric scorecards are developed to quickly communicate project status, risks, and risk abatement plans.

We meet our customers' needs with our training, tools, and demonstrated experience with projects ranging in scope from a straight forward product requirements definition task to overseeing complex designs and production.
