Power Generation

Our customers include the industry leaders in the power generation sector. Belcan provides engineering services in the design of the components of gas turbines, steam turbines, power turbines and gas turbine enclosures. Our design engineering personnel are experienced in all the turbomachinery components of the Industrial Gas Turbines, including the design of the Controls and Externals. Our engineering analysis disciplines have extensive breath and depth and include Stress, Vibratory, Heat Transfer, Aerothermal & Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

Renewables

Belcan engineering is leveraging its experience gained from our work in the Aviation and Power Generation industries to expand our activities to the Wind technology field; as well as, other renewables. We offer engineering services and expertise in wind turbine design, blade aerodynamics, aero acoustics, gearbox and nacelle design as well as controls. Our Customer Services Engineering team provides services to monitor and maintain wind farm installations. On other fronts, our engineers are developing a new cooling design for storage batteries and investigating how Belcan can help our customers in the Bio-Mass industry. Our Sustainable Design team works to help clients incorporate designs that both utilize renewable energy sources and are energy efficient.

Oil & Gas

Belcan has significant experience with the all the major machinery components used in the Oil & Gas industry. Our engineering services have been utilized on gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, turbo expanders, heat exchangers, reactors, and surface and subsea drilling systems. In addition, Belcan has a team devoted to surface and subsea drilling systems. That team supports the component design of the marine drilling risers, subsea trees, wellhead connectors, and blowout prevention equipments.

Packaging/Enclosures

Belcan’s engineering services team has designed gas turbine packages - from portable packaging on trailer beds to traditional stationary enclosures. We have supported the technical needs of major gas turbine OEMs and their packaging suppliers. Through design, manufacturing, assembly and testing of packaged drive units. We have extensive experience in packaging design, controls, externals/piping, acoustics, ventilation, vibration, and systems integration.
