Jet Engines

Belcan provides engineering services in the design of the engine TurboMachinery, Controls & Accessories, engine externals and the engine nacelle. Our design engineering personnel are experienced in all elements of the engine design including compressor & turbine rotating hardware, combustion systems, frames and casings. Our engineers and designers are highly proficient in both Mechanical Design; as well as, the engineering analysis disciplines, including Stress, Vibratory, Heat Transfer, Aerothermal and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Our Customer Services Engineering team provides services to monitor and maintain our customers in-service engines.

Aircraft

Belcan provides engineering services in the design and analysis of airframe structure, auxiliary equipment and dynamic systems for rotor and fixed-wing aircraft. Our Design Teams have experience in all elements of Aircraft design including Primary Structures, Light Weight Composite parts, Nose Cones, Stabilators, Fan Duct and Cowling. We have also worked extensively in the air frame to propulsion system integration with emphasis on EBU systems, engine mounts, Nacelles and configuration. We have a complete suite of analytical tools to analyze and substantiate any designs and have supported validation test to complete component certification.

Avionics

Belcan’s Controls & Software design engineering team has designed and qualified high reliability electronic component designs for the military/civil avionics and sea/land defense systems. Our Avionics experience is aligned with our customers systems, with specializations in flight management systems and the computer systems that support it ; navigation systems, flight recorders, data transfer, health and usage, compass attitude, heading reference and supporting systems.
