Belcan Custom Engineered Equipment and Turnkey Systems include initial prototype production systems, semi automatic systems and full automatic systems depending on the market maturity of the products being manufactured, the product life cycle, and the systems processes being automated. Belcan has developed systems which are for dedicated production of a single product and systems which have the flexibility of being used for product families.

Belcan-SEED engineering and design activities include a complete requirements definition phase for both machine and product attributes. Risk assessment and cost consideration are included in the trade off analysis of competing machine approaches and ideas leading to machine solutions which are tailored to match the machine application. Included in the design of the special machine may be inspection, vision systems, automatic rejection of defective pieces, information documentation, flexibility to handle families of parts, heat and cooling processes, application of coatings, sealants, packaging, coding, use of special gases, etc. The machine could process a single product or multiple products at a time. They could also be indexing, continuous motion, power and free, synchronous or asynchronous, whichever fits the application and needs of our client.
