Distributed Control![]() Project DetailsThe block diagram shows basic topology of a Belcan control system. The primary control device is an Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC. Sercos fiber optic cabling is used for motion control to servo drives for fast, noise immune, connections. DeviceNet is used to link Linear Motor Controllers. Ethernet links include Flex I/O for digital and analog signals, strain gauges for process quality control, port servers with RS485 links to 24 process controllers, RSView Client HMI with flexibility to add additional clients, and RSView Server with SQL Server for storage of part configuration and production data. |
